County Qualifiers

A very tightly contested competition saw ten ladies compete for the championship, with Srah Watts narrowly defeating Margaret Jones in the final

27 Pairs competed in a very hard fought competition. The semi’s included Chris W. + Dave E, Alan Lodge + Andrew Smith, Mike Edwards + Wendy Kean. The final which was hard fought was finally won by Chris W and Dave E against Mike Edwards and Wendy Kean. Great competition played in good spirits. Well done

A full house turnout for this year’s championship. The final was tightly contested by Chris Terry and Aaron Clare from Old Stratford with Aaron winning though on the extra end played. A plate competition was also played between Mike Edwards of Harpole and Terry Castleton of Old Stratford with Mike winning through.

A busy day with 17 teams entering this competition, each team playing eight ends. Quarter finals, semi finals and then the finals which was between teams from Old Stratford and Harpole. The team of Chris Hopkins, Aaron Clare, Edward Sawbridge and Steve McAllister beat the team of Katie Mason, Lee Watts, Sarah Watts and Gordon Watts. An excellent day’s bowling.

7 Teams of Mixed Fours played a round robin competition which gave teams a full day of bowling. The winning team with the most points were Paul D’Inverno, Maureen D’Inverno, Michael Tite and Julie Tite from Harpole Bowls Club. A very good days bowling.

16 Teams took part in a hard fought competition and the final was between Chris Hopkins, Edward Sawbridge and Steve McAlister V Mo Page, Dave Ekins and Chris Weston. After a tense final the winners were Chris, Edward and Steve. Well done to all those who took part

15 Pairs of Over 55’s were played in groups of five, then onto a knockout to decide the eventual winners. It was a very close competition with the final being played with Dave Ekins and Chris Weston verses Mary and Eddie Carter. Dave and Chris were the winners. Well done to everybody who took part.
