On Sunday 23rd August, NSMBA held a Randoms competition for charity. The charity chosen was very close to home as it helped a visually impaired bowler from Bridgman Bowls Club, John Hollowell and his carer Beata, to defend their World Championships Gold Medal in New Zealand. A total of £315 was raised from the 50 participating bowlers…congratulations to the overall winners Chris, Terry, Sue Gunter, Sue O’Connell and Pam Walker.
